PHOENIX (AP) - An SUV sliding on ice from a burst water pipe went into a car dealership where it struck and damaged two vehicles before crashing into a showroom and injuring a customer.
Television station KSAZ (http://bit.ly/S2QeLB ) reports that the accident occurred Monday after black ice formed on Camelback Road.
Dealership co-owner Mark Gruwell says there was a slow water leak after a water pipe burst Sunday evening due to freezing temperatures.
Gruwell says an employee in the showroom dodged the incoming SUV but that a customer was injured and taken to a hospital.
