Suspect named in Rimrock Tavern stabbing

PRESCOTT- Detectives released the name of a suspect involved in a stabbing at Rimrock Tavern.

30-year old Jonathan Perez-Vidal was arrested at his home Friday afternoon. Yavapai County Sheriff's Department says he confirmed his involvement in the fight and admitted he got upset when he saw the victim speaking with his wife earlier that day.

The 38-year old victim was bleeding from his chest and one of his knees when police arrived on scene of the stabbing. He was taken to the hospital, but has since been released. The victim said he didn't know the couple.

Perez-Vidal was booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and remains in-custody on a $50,000 bond.
