Suspect in northside burglary arrested

TUCSON - The Pima County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 33-year-old Richard Rogers Saturday and booked him on forgery charges and theft of a credit card.

On July 12, PCSD responded to a burglary at a residence in the 7300 Block of North Oldfather Drive just after midnight.

Chief Deputy Chris Nanos said Rogers broke into the home while the owner was out of town and took numerous items including the homeowner's credit card and weapons.

Rogers was spotted using the stolen credit card at a Circle K the same day.

The investigation is still ongoing.
