FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a man accused of killing a Utah deputy likely will face trial in Arizona.
Scott Curley of Fredonia was arrested early Monday after a four-day manhunt stretching between northern Arizona and southern Utah.
The 23-year-old Curley was arrested on a first-degree murder charge and was taken to a jail in Utah. He's being held without bail.
Authorities said late Monday that Curley had not yet gone before a judge.
Curley will have to decide whether to fight extradition to Arizona.
His case is expected to be heard in Coconino County because the Kane County, Utah, deputy was shot to death outside Fredonia.
Coconino County Sheriff Bill Pribil says he believes Curley will be returning to Arizona very soon.
