TUCSON - The Tucson Police Department has arrested a man connected to a deadly shooting at a southside Motel.

Gang detectives took 21-year-old Ramon Rodriguez into custody from his home Thursday.

He's charged with 1 count of First Degree Murder, 1 count of Attempted First Degree Murder, 1 count of Aggravated Assault, and 1 count of Prohibited Possessor.

Police say he shot 27-year-old David Rodriguez at a Motel 6 on East Benson Highway on July 29th.

Another woman with Rodriguez was also shot.

Rodriguez died from his injuries the following day.
