TUCSON - The Sunnyside School District Board held a special meeting Thursday night.
It was personnel related and not open to the public.
About 20 people showed up anyway, despite knowing they would not know what was happening, and they would not have a public comment period.
Many in the community have asked the Board to fire Superintendent Manuel Isquierdo. His contract is not up until June 2014.
The public portion of the meeting only lasted a couple minutes before all 5 members left the board room and went into executive session.
Most of the people in the crowd waited hours, but the Board did not come out of the meeting before they left.
