TUCSON - Plenty hot, but little rain today.

According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, dry air in place over southern Arizona will limit the thunder threat today. Because of this, the best chance of isolated storms will be in the mountains, although a few storms may drift into the valley floors later this afternoon.

While most areas will stay dry, everyone will feel the heat. Daytime high temps will eclipse the 100's for the Tucson metro, which is above average for early September.

Jeff will have a complete look at your Labor Day weekend forecast tonight on News 4 at 5:30 and 10.
