TUCSON - Lather, rinse, repeat for the Monsoon this Sunday afternoon.
Much like the last few days, News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish expects isolated valley/scattered mountain storms after 1 PM today. Once again, a thunderstorm or two can't be ruled out for the Tucson metro. However, the best chance of storms will be south of Tucson, along the International Border.
Cities like Nogales, Douglas, Sierra Vista and Bisbee may see up locally heavy rain and gusty winds up to 40 mph later today.
Looking ahead, there are no signs of a Monsoon ramp-up over the next seven days. Storms will continue to be of the isolated variety through next weekend.
Stay with News 4 Tucson & KVOA.com for the latest weather developments. Jeff will have your complete work week forecast tonight on News 4 at 5:30 and 10.
