TUCSON - Monsoon moisture continues to rise across Southern Arizona.
Isolated to scattered storms are once again possible this afternoon to round out the weekend. Storms will initiate in the higher elevations and push out of the east into the valley floors through this afternoon and evening.
Gusty winds and flash flooding will be the biggest concern with storms today, especially for areas already hit hard this weekend like much of Cochise County.
Abundant moisture will interact with an upper level disturbance on Tuesday for what looks like our most active monsoon day of the upcoming workweek.
Looking at another downturn in monsoon activity late this week as a Pacific low moves through the Great Basin pushing our moisture to the east.
