TUCSON - After a bumpy start officials from Sun Tran now say it's SunGo Fare Card customers are experiencing smooth rides on the streets of Tucson.
The SunGo Fare Card program was supposed to be an easier way for riders to connect and pay fares on Sun Tran busses when it was launched last July. But, a number of glitches in the new system forced Sun Tran to impose a grace period for card holders for the last three months.
Kate Riley, General Manager of Sun Tran says several software fixes have been made and the SunGo system is now working the way it was designed to.
