TUCSON- Sun Tran is discontinuing some shuttle bus routes to University of Arizona home football games this year.
In a press release today, Sun Tran said: As a federally funded transit system, Sun Tran is prohibited from competing with private charter companies interested in providing shuttle services. This year due to the interest of a charter company in running the UA Football Shuttle - which typically runs from Hi Corbett and other locations in the community, Sun Tran is unable to operate this service.
According to the U of A Parking and Transportation Department, fans can still catch shuttles around the UA campus to take them to the stadium. Some of the pickup areas are at the Park Avenue Garage, Highland Garage and Tyndall Garage.

Sun Tran is also reminding fans they can park along the Sun Link Streetcar route and ride into to the UA campus. All-day passes for the Sun Link cost $4.
