TUCSON - Wave goodbye to the weekend chill.
Warmer temps & sunny skies is the big weather story for the week, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. High pressure over Utah & Arizona today raises daytime temperatures into the upper 70's/low 80's for Tucson. We'll add roughly 10 degrees to highs tomorrow & the remainder of the work week, topping out at or near 90 degrees through Friday.
A second area of high pressure moves over Arizona this weekend, serving as a reinforcing shot of warmth. High temperatures Saturday and Sunday should run 8-10 degrees above average for this time of year. We'll approach the low to mid 90's from Tucson & points west for the upcoming weekend, which will likely be the warmest temps we've seen so far this year.
