TUCSON - Warm weather wins this Wednesday.
A dry westerly flow keeps daytime highs in the 70's this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This flow will also carry in some high cloud cover from Baja California, with partly cloudy skies expected later today. Some of that cloud cover hangs on overnight, with 40's and 50's expected by daybreak Thursday.
While a series of storms batter the Pacific Northwest the next several days, little changes are on tap for southern Arizona. We'll see more sunshine starting tomorrow and daytime highs through early next week top out in the 70's and 80's. Warmest day of the next 7 looks to be Sunday, with Tucson peaking in the low 80's.
