Students dismissed from SV charter school after threat found on campus

SIERRA VISTA - Students at Imagine Charter School have been evacuated and released early for safety reasons after a possible bomb threat was discovered at the school this morning.

Three explosives-detection dogs from Fort Huachuca were dispatched to the school and did not find anything, Cpl. Scott Borgstadt with the Sierra Vista Police Department confirmed. For safety reasons, the school decided to dismiss the students for the day.

Parents are urged to pick up their students at the Calvary Chapel.

The incident was reported to police when a threat was found written on the wall of a boy's bathroom at the school, Borgstadt confirmed.
