TUCSON - Monsoon storms are making noise south of Tucson this evening.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, radar indicates a cluster of strong stroms stretching from Corona de Tucson southward to Madera Canyon. This activity is moving west at 15 MPH.
Expect gusty winds to 50 MPH, locally heavy rainfall up to 0.75" & blowing dust in Green Valley and Sahuarita between now and 8:30 PM.
A News 4 viewer in Green Valley reported frequent lightning and wind gusts to 25 MPH ahead of the storms.
