TUCSON- Several organizations are helping Tucsonans stay water-safe this summer with free pool safety and CPR training classes this month.
The Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free Summer Sun, Safe Fun 2012 event which will include information on sunscreen use, swim lessons, a CPR demonstration, and more.
The Summer Sun, Safe Fun 2012 event will be held on April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1400 E. Sixth St. For more information, head to:
Tucson College and the American Heart Association are also holding three Basic Life Support Certification classes this month on April 13, 20, and 27.
"In hopes of helping save lives, Tucson College is offering our CPR class at no charge to the public for the months of April and May," a Tucson College representative states in a news release.
