TUCSON - The Arizona Department of Transportation has begun repaving a 10 mile segment of State Route 83, north from the State Route 82 junction. The preparation work started today, Monday August 8th.
The paving work is set to start next week on Monday August 15th, and is scheduled to end on Thursday August 18th. The work hours will be 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. During this time, crews will be present to help direct traffic. Delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected, and speed limits will be reduced to 25 mph in the construction zones.
