Spring Training tickets go on sale on Saturday

Tickets to the two Major League Spring Training games at Kino Stadium go on sale to the general public Saturday, February 9. Fans can purchase tickets in person at the Kino Stadium box office from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm or online beginning at 10:00 am via www.tucsonpadres.com. Kino Stadium's address is 2500 E. Ajo Way in Tucson. Phone orders will not be taken at this time.

Fans still have an opportunity to purchase Spring Training tickets ahead of the general public by becoming a Tucson Padres ticket package or voucher holder. Tucson Padres vouchers start at only $80 for 10 undated box seat tickets can be purchased by calling (520) 434-1367.

The first Major League Spring Training game is on Sunday, March 17 at 1:05 pm when the Arizona Diamondbacks play the San Diego Padres in a split-squad game. Fans can expect a St. Patrick's Day theme at the ballpark.

The second Major League Spring Training game is on Thursday, March 21 at 1:05 pm when the Chicago Cubs play the Los Angeles Dodgers in a charity game with proceeds benefiting the Christina-Taylor Green Memorial Foundation.

Gates open at 11:00 am for both games and fans are encouraged to arrive as early as possible because sellout crowds are expected. The Padres will be the home team on March 17 and will occupy the third base dugout. The Dodgers are the home team on March 21 and will also be in the third base dugout.

The ticket prices for the two Spring Training games are as follows:

March 17 - Padres vs. Diamondbacks
Field Box: $20 per seat Bleacher: $10 per seat
Outfield Reserved: $15 per seat Lawn: $6 per seat
Terrace: $15 per seat Suites: $500 (Includes up to 20 people)

March 21 - Cubs vs. Dodgers Charity Game
Field Box: $25 per seat Bleacher: $10 per seat
Outfield Reserved: $20 per seat Lawn: $8 per seat
Terrace: $20 per seat Suites: $1,500 (Includes up to 20 people)

Group discounts apply only for the March 17 game between the Diamondbacks and Padres. Prices for the Cubs vs. Dodgers game on March 21 remain the same as prices for individual seats.
