Special Election polls close at 7 p.m. tonight

TUCSON - The polls for the Congressional District 8 Special Primary Election close at 7 p.m. today. If you are voting today, you have until 7 p.m. to vote at the polling place designated for your registered voting address.

Ron Barber is the only candidate on the ballot for the Democrats, and Charles Manolakis is the only candidate listed for the Green Party. The Pima County Elections site lists Richard Grayson as an "official write-in candidate" for the Green Party. Click here for a news profile on Democratic candidate Ron Barber.

On the Republican side, four candidates are competing for the nomination to face Barber and Manolakis, the presumptive Democratic and Green nominees, in the CD8 Special General Election on June 12.
