TUCSON - News 4 Tucson along with The Arizona Daily Star continues to feature the area's best high school football players in our preseason series, Southern Arizona's Top 22. Wednesday's player profile is Salpointe senior quarterback Jordan Scelfo.

Jordan transferred from Cedar Creek School in Ruston, Louisiana to Salpointe in early 2010 after his father, Frank, was named quarterbacks' coach at the University of Arizona. Soon after his arrival, the Lancer coaching staff became impressed with Jordan's skills and mechanics and he was given the starting job.

The next player on the list of Southern Arizona's Top 22 will be revealed in Thunsday's Arizona Daily Star and also on News 4 Tucson at 6pm and 10pm.
