Some clouds, plenty of warmth, watching winds next week

TUCSON - Basking in the 80's well into the weekend.

A weak trough supplies partly cloudy skies this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Despite the clouds, high temps reach the low 80's in Tucson. More sunshine wins the weekend forecast as temperatures top out in the mid 80's.

Next week features a cold front sweeping across the Four Corners. Gusty winds return Monday, as well as a high fire danger. By the middle of next week, highs drop to the mid/upper 70's in Tucson. These numbers are below average for mid April.
