PATAGONIA, Ariz.- The Soldier Basin Fire burning seven miles south of Patagonia and five miles east of the Nogales International Airport has grown to 1650 acres. The Forest Service says it is 5-percent contained.
According to the Forest Service, 190 personal are fighting the fire, including two helicopters, nine engines, two Type 1 crews and three Type 2 crews.
Forest Service says the human caused fire is under investigation.
The fire is burning in grass and brush. Not structures are threatened at this time.
