TUCSON - Cool weather and a few snow flurries wrap up the work week with a warm up just in time for the weekend.
Tucson's below average temperature streak continues today with a forecast high of 58, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Daytime highs heat back up to normal by this weekend as the low to mid 60s return under sunny skies.
An upper level disturbance moving through Northern Sonora this evening could fire up some rain showers and snow flurries east of a Sierra Vista-Safford line, Tucson should stay dry. Best timing for showers remains after 6pm with snow levels dropping all the way down to 3500 feet late tonight. Little accumulation, however, is expected with this system as elevations above 5000 feet only pick up 1-3". Southeast Arizona clears out tomorrow morning with sunny skies to end the work week.
