TUCSON - The Monsoon making little noise for a few days.
Enough moisture remains in place to pop a few isolated storms this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Most places will stay dry today with any storm fizzling out after sunset. Today's Monsoon Prediction Index is at 2 out of 10, meaning a low risk for severe weather.
The weekend forecast looks good for the most part as Tucson tops out in the mid to upper 90's through Sunday. A slight chance of a thunderstorm or two still exists tomorrow afternoon.
High pressure parks near the Four Corners next week, drawing in better Monsoon moisture and bringing a better chance of isolated storms starting Monday. High temps make a run at the 100's Tuesday and Wednesday.
