TUCSON - Simply Bits, a Tucson-based provider of network communications, has designated Hi Corbett Field, 3400 E. Camino Campestre, as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Simply Bits, in collaboration with the Tucson Toros baseball club, is allowing spectators to access the Internet from their wireless devices during baseball games. The expansion is the third designation of Simply Bits' Seven Wireless Wonders of Tucson, joining the two previous Simply Bits-sponsored areas, including the Wi-Fi zone at El Presidio Park, 160 W. Alameda St. and La Placita Village, 110 S. Church Ave., both in downtown Tucson.

The free Wi-Fi now available at Hi Corbett Field covers all seating areas inside the stadium. Simply Bits installed and maintains the network at no charge to the Tucson Toros, the City of Tucson or the fans.
