TUCSON - The weekend gets underway with considerable cloud cover and a few sprinkles.
Subtropical moisture continues to push into southern Arizona this evening keeping our cloud cover around and the chance for a light shower or two, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. The best chance for showers will remain south and east of Tucson mainly in the higher elevations but any accumulation will be minimal.
Skies begin to clear by Sunday with the temperatures actually coming down a degree or two as a weak weather disturbance moves to our north. A forecast high of 76 is projected for both Sunday and Monday.
As Thanksgiving approaches so does an area of high pressure that begins to warm us up. Highs try to push 80 by Thanksgiving Day and that's where they stay through the long holiday weekend.
