TUCSON - Storms are off. The heat is back on.
Dry air from the southwest brings a shutdown for storm chances today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Outside of a slight chance of an isolated storm along & east of a Safford-Willcox line, southern Arizona sees mostly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 90's.
Daytime highs tomorrow through early next week will threaten the triple digit mark in Tucson.
Monsoon moisture gets pulled back in from Mexico by the weekend. This may lead to a slight chance of isolated storms Saturday through early next week.
