TUCSON - A busy night Thursday at the Foothills Mall, employees were in a rush to get everything straightened up and read for a very early start to Black Friday.
The midnight opening is a first for the Foothills Mall, a new trend for retailers nationwide. Jerry Abreu, store manager for Play and Trade said he is banking on strong sales.
"I'm hoping for trying to match last years numbers or even do a little bit better their are a lot of great games out right now, this is a big business," Abreu said.
Some other shoppers are staking out and waiting out for hot deals like Scott Harrison, who's been waiting almost 24 hours at a Best Buy.
"We've been doing this for about three years now...its fun it camping...its a whole different experience," Harrison said.
