TUCSON - Shoppers packed stores the last Saturday before Christmas.
Some people like Ann Erickson enjoy the crowds. She was shopping at La Encantada.
"It's part of Christmas for me," she said, "to always go and be out with the shoppers. I like that."
La Encantada is staying open until 9 p.m. all weekend to accommodate the extra people.
Macy's and Toys "R" Us are open 24 hours through the weekend.
Claude Lopez felt like he had plenty of time.
"I've still got tomorrow and then even actually Monday," he said, "so I'm not doing too bad. I think I'm kind of ahead of the game."
Liz Almli said she only had a couple more gifts to buy. She did not appreciate the lack of parking.
"Every year I say I'm going to do it different next year," she said.
