Sheriffs seeking suspect in armed robbery of north side Subway

TUCSON - A masked man robbed a Subway restaurant at gunpoint last week - Pima County Sheriff's Department officials are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect.

At about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, PCSD deputies responded to a robbery at the Subway at 7262 N. Oracle Road, according to a news release from the department.

Investigators learned a man jumped over the food counter, held an employee at gunpoint while he demanded money and received an undisclosed amount. The suspect then left in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5'9" to 6' tall, in his 20's to 30's, last seen wearing a white ball cap, a dark long-sleeve shift, tan shorts, gloves, and a nylon mask.

Anyone who can identify the suspect or provide additional information on the case is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
