Sheriffs: Man stabbed in home during burglary

TUCSON - A man is recovering from being stabbed overnight after being assaulted by 3 men who broke into his home overnight Monday, Pima County Sheriffs said.

Deputies said they arrested 21-year-old Richard Poulin, 25-year-old Mark Perkins and 27-year-old Larry Shane Denney on attempted murder and robbery charges.

In a release deputies said the three men broke into the victim's apartment in the 3200 block of West Ina Road just after midnight Monday.

The suspects kicked in the door and assaulted the man and his 19-year-old girlfriend, Pima County Sheriffs Department spokesman Tracy Suitt said in a release.

The victim was stabbed multiple times, Suitt said.

The three men were officially charged with attempted murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and armed robbery.
