JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI - Low-lying areas in Jackson, Mississippi saw large amounts of rainfall Sunday.
A Rankin County woman was rescued from her vehicle after it stalled in flood waters more than a foot deep.
Two other vehicles also stalled after trying to get through the area.
One of the drivers, Pam Greer, says the City of Jackson is liable for her car's damage because the street wasn't closed off.
"They can buy me a new car, point blank simple, because I refuse to put my car in the shop and pay for the bill, and then pay taxes as well? They got me all the way messed up," Greer said.
