TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for north central Pima & south central Pinal Counties until 4 PM.
This includes Marana, Red Rock, Picacho Peak & the I-10.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, radar indicates a severe storm capable of 60 MPH winds and blowing dust 11 miles east of Avra Valley.
This storm is moving west at 10 MPH and has a history of producing damaging winds in the Dove Mountain area.
In addition to damaging winds and blowing dust, this storm is also capable of torrential rainfall.
