Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Green Valley, Sahuarita

TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for east central Pima County until 3:45 PM. This warning includes the towns of Green Valley, Sahuarita & Corona de Tucson.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, radar indicates a storm capable of damaging winds in excess of 60 MPH & blowing dust east of Green Valley. This storm is moving west at 20 MPH.
If you live in the warned area, be prepared for damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall. Reduced visibility may also occur along Interstate 19. A Blowing Dust Advisory has also been issued for the same area until 4 PM.
