TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for central Pima County until 3 PM.

This includes the Tohono O'odham Nation & the communities of San Luis, Covered Wells, Papago Farms & Mountain Village.

According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms south & west of Sells capable of 60 MPH winds. This line is moving west at 15 MPH, toward Lukeville and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.

Along with damaging winds, blowing dust and torrential rainfall can be expected along highway 86 between Why and Sells.
