TUCSON - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for central Pima County until 4:30 PM.
This includes the towns of Ajo & Why.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, radar indicates a severe thunderstorm capable of 60 MPH winds near Why. This storm is moving southwest at 5 PM.
In addition to damaging winds, blowing dust and torrential rain is expected along highways 85 and 86.
