TUCSON - What a week of weather!
High pressure anchors itself over the desert southwest for several days, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. As a result, southern Arizona will see ample sunshine and temps running near seasonal normals.
Expect daytime highs in the low to mid 90's this afternoon through the first weekend of Fall.
No weather of significance is anticipated, thanks in part to a blocking pattern setting up over the Lower 48. While southern Arizona basks in the late Summer sun, cool and rainy weather plagues the Great Lakes states much of the week.
