TUCSON - Police have arrested a second suspect for the First-Degree Murder of Jordan Peterson, the 21-year-old Tucsonan who went missing last November.
During the ongoing investigation into the murder of Peterson, Home Invasion Unit detectives identified 18-year-old Reed J. Marrone as an additional suspect in this case and obtained an arrest warrant, according to a TPD news release. Marrone was arrested and booked into Pima County Jail today.
Last month, 21-year-old Bryan Lamar Lee turned himself in to Texas authorities after Tucson Police detectives issued a warrant for his arrest.
Authorities found the body of Jordan Peterson in a remote area of Pinal County on January 13, three months after he went missing. The medical examiner's report states that Peterson's body was found in a shallow grave, severely decomposed and discolored, weighing 87 pounds.
The Tucson Police Department urges anyone with more information about this case to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
