TUCSON - Cold weather kept some people away from the Second Saturday party Downtown.
The event is almost 3 years old and only cancelled for weather once. That was for a major monsoon storm, according to Sandy Mellor who helps organize the event.
"We are expecting less tonight," she said, "but come on down, because you go to a football game when it's colder than this."
Leandra Guthrie brought her young children in spite of the temperature.
"People over-react," she said. "You should just go out and enjoy your day the way it's going to happen."
Ofelia Santos is a food vendor who was cooking chile rellenos. She has seen worse nights.
"Temperature is perfect," she said. "It's cold, but it's not windy. It's not raining."
Ayee Ballesteros regularly goes to Second Saturdays and loves the cold weather. But she stayed close to a propane heater.
"I think I'll probably stick around here where it's nice and warm," she said.
The next Second Saturday is February 9.
