Search on for South Tucson murder suspect

SOUTH TUCSON - Police are searching for a man they say killed 18-year-old Jacob Michael Leon.

South Tucson Police officers responded to a 911 call at 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 12 about a shooting at South 10th Avenue and West 29th Street.. Officers found Leon suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, a press release detailed.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect is described as being a light-skinned Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s, about 5' 5'' tall with a thin build and slight mustache. He was last wearing a grey hoodie, sweatshirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

He was last seen running southbound through the neighborhood.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
