Search continues for missing 11-year-old boy

TUCSON - Pima County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a missing 11-year-old boy, last seen at his middle school on Tucson's southwest side.

Larry Avila's last known location was at Valencia Middle School, located at 4400 West Irvington Road, according to Pima County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Deputy Tom Peine. He did not return home after school. Deputies have been working with TUSD officials, but so far, have not located Avila.

Avila is described by officials as Hispanic, skinny, 4'3" tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a school uniform: blue shirt and brown shorts.
