TUCSON - Scattered storms are expected across Southern Arizona to end another lively Monsoon weekend.
An active Monsoon pattern is still in place to see another round of storms fire up this afternoon, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. Monsoon moisture combines with an upper level disturbance to produce heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts with today's storms. After yesterday's rainfall flooding could become a concern this afternoon and evening.
Scattered storms will remain in the forecast through Wednesday until the moisture in place starts to thin out. By Thursday storms will become more isolated across the region and daytime highs will shoot back up near the triple digits. Until than Tucson will be dealing with below average temperatures in the mid 90s.
