TUCSON - The Monsoon song looks to remain at the same tone this weekend.
According to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish, isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon. Storms will favor the higher terrain early on, with some eventually pushing into valley floors.
Like yesterday, storms will taper off after midnight.
The primary threat from storms today will be locally heavy rainfall over one inch, leading to flash flooding. Burn areas and locales that have seen plenty of rainfall the last few days will be especially prone to flooding.
Stay with News 4 Tucson & KVOA.com for the latest weather developments. Jeff will have your complete Monsoon forecast tonight on News 4 at 5:30 and 10.
