TUCSON - Isolated storms make for a great Monsoon light show Saturday evening.
Monsoon storms lit up the sky Saturday evening with frequent lightning and heavy rain for North Central Pima and Pinal Counties. The area saw nearly 400 lightning strikes between the hours of 8pm-9pm alone and some radar estimates were showing nearly 1" of rain.
After two active days it looks like Monsoon 2013 might take a day off for Sunday. Expect a few hit or miss storms mainly south and east of Tucson.
High pressure sets up in a more favorable position heading into Tuesday and Wednesday bringing us a better shot at scattered storm activity. Check out your True View 4 Forecast by clicking here.
