TUCSON- The Salvation Army is registering families for assistance with clothes and toys Saturday.

Starting at 8am at the Hospitality House Shelter Parking Lot, 1021 N. 11th Ave., 1,550 pre-registration tickets will be distributed with an appointment date, and instructions to apply for the toy registration program.

Tickets will be handed out first come, first serve, with one ticket per household. This program is for families with children 12 years old and younger.

During applications the Salvation Army will also be offering additional educational and job resources, and information on how to volunteer and give back to the community.
