The westbound frontage road along I-10 between Prince Road and Ruthrauff Road is now open for traffic after a three-vehicle accident overnight.

DPS tells news 4 the accident happened just after 11:00 Thursday night on I-10 at milepost 253.

We're told a semi-truck rearended a car which then hit another car. The semi then rolled on its side, spilling diesel and shutting down the highway for hours while crews cleaned up the spill. The road reopened about 3:00 this morning. We're told there were injuries, but none were serious, although one person was taken to the hospital.

The westbound frontage road between Prince and Ruthrauff is closed while the semi load is cleaned up and the semi trailer is removed.
