TUCSON - This week on Kitchen Cops...
Carniceria La Noria received 4 critical violations. Three foods were not being stored at a safe temperature. An employee was caught not washing his hands before putting on gloves, and an employee was handling ready-to-eat food with his bare hands. Carniceria La Noria on S 6th Ave. received a "Needs Improvement" rating.
McDonald's on S. Craycroft received 1 critical violation. An employee was mopping the floor, and then put on gloves to handle food without first washing his or her hands. McDonald's on S. Craycroft received a "Good" rating.
We told you last week about Java Edge on Broadway receiving a "Needs Improvement" rating after some violations could not be corrected. All of the violations have been corrected, so Java Edge on Broadway passed its re-inspection.
We also told you last week about Piazza Gavi on Kolb having foods not stored at a safe temperature, and a dishwasher failing to wash his hands correctly. All of the violations have been corrected, so Piazza Gavi on Kolb passed its re-inspection as well.
Maloney's on E. Stevens Avenue, Buffalo Wild Wings on W. Irvington and La Palma Bakery and Tortilla Factory on N. Oracle all received an "Excellent" rating.
