TUCSON - A SWAT situation near Swan and Glenn roads has resulted in one person being taken into custody.
It all started at about 2 p.m. Thursday when a resident came home and disrupted a burglary happening. The person called 911 but the suspect was able to flee before police arrived, Tucson Police Sgt. Maria Hawke said.
The resident reported that they may have seen the suspect with a gun, Hawke said.
A short time later, a woman at a nearby home called 911. Officers at the first home ran over to assist the woman, Hawke said.
Police arrested the suspect. There was conflicting information about weapons being inside the woman's home. A SWAT team responded, Hawke said.
Four homes were robbed in the neighborhood, police said. It's unclear if they're related, Hawke said.
