Tucson,AZ- A few years ago, Lutheran Social Services was able to find employment for many refugees who settled in Tucson. But now, they are facing a 50 percent unemployment rate.
Even with a struggling economy, Lutheran Social Services are doing what they can to help nearly 400 refugees change their life. The program is using different methods on how to prepare for interviews and learn other important skills.
Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest expects to help about 1,000 refugees in the Phoenix and Tucson area this year.
