TUCSON - Tonight, the third annual "The PARTY" is expected to have a record-breaking guest count, and it's not too late to join the festivities!
The PARTY is the leading fundraiser for The Boys and Girls Club of Tucson, and this year features multiplatinum-selling artist Five for Fighting. The money raised goes towards continuing programs and safe environments to prevent juvenile delinquency. There are six local clubhouses that tend to over 8,000 children, age 7-17 years. This year there is an expected 3,500 guest count.
The event will have food provided by Fox Restaurant Concepts, bidding on over 900 items, and live entertainment from Five for Fighting.
The PARTY is on October 26, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 11p.m., at the Exhibit Hall and Arena. Tickets are still available for a $100 and can be purchased at the TCC Exhibit Hall starting at 9 a.m.; the tickets are a $50 tax deductable. According to a news release attire is "come as you are."
Partners of the Boys and Girls Club of Tucson are Jim Click Automotive Team, Clear Channel Radio, Comcast, Gadabout SalonSpas, and Tucson Electric Power. Along with HSL Properties, Rosemont Copper, Golden Eagle Distributors, Good News Radio Broadcasting, Community Partnership of Southern Arizona, and University of Phoenix, the partners also include Tucson Medical Center for Children, Hunter Contracting, Tucson Lifestyle, BizTucson, Arizona Daily Star and the Desert Leaf.
